Terms and Condition of BDDTI

Admission and Fees

  • A single class is accessible upon minimum payment. Full access to
    the course requires full payment.
  • Course admission is non-refundable
    and non-cancellable under any circumstances.
  • Full course and certification fees must be paid before the
    commencement of any practical class.
  • Payment through mobile banking or online admission must clearly
    include the applicant’s registered name and mobile
    number‘ otherwise, the payment will be considered invalid.
  • No financial transaction is allowed directly with trainers or
    outside the official premises. BDDTI will not be responsible for
    any such dealings.
  • Payment receipts must be generated through the official online
    portal.

Course Duration and Validity

  • Each course is valid for a maximum of 4 months from the date of
    admission.
  • If the course is not completed within 4 months, a 10% fee will be
    charged annually on the remaining classes for renewal.

Class Booking and Attendance

  • Class booking must be done with accurate branch and instructor
    information. Mistaken bookings will not be reallocated and will be
    considered as absent.
  • No class can be booked or attended without prior booking via the
    official online portal.
  • Booking can be made from inside the training car with instructor
    approval, or independently up to 3 hours before class start time,
    any day after 7 PM.
  • Students must be present at the training location at least 10
    minutes before the scheduled class. Late arrivals will lose that
    portion of the time with no rescheduling.
  • If a student fails to attend a booked class without at least 12
    hours’ notice, the class will be forfeited.
  • No free makeup classes will be given for missed classes without
    valid notice.
  • Additional or make-up classes will incur applicable charges.

Safety, Conduct, and Discipline

  • Students must not drive the training vehicle without the
    instructor’s direction.
  • Any incident or damage caused by negligence or disobedience of the
    student shall be the sole responsibility of the student.
  • Noise, quarrels, or any form of disturbance inside the vehicle are
    strictly prohibited.
  • Personal conversations or transactions with trainers inside the
    vehicle are not allowed.
  • Only female students may be accompanied by one legal guardian
    during class, who must remain silent throughout.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Classes may be cancelled or rescheduled at any time due to trainer
    illness or mechanical issues.
  • BDDTI will attempt to notify students via SMS, phone call,
    website, notification, or social media.
  • No classes will be held without prior approval and booking.
    Unauthorized attendance will result in cancellation of admission.

Course Completion and Certification

  • Completion of all practical, engine, and theoretical classes is
    mandatory for certificate eligibility.
  • Certificates are auto-generated through our online system. No
    manual certificates will be issued.
  • Online certificates are free of charge. For a printed (hardcopy)
    certificate, a fee of BDT 200 must be paid.
  • The first attempt for the online exam is free. If a student is
    absent, fails, or wants a retake for improvement, a fee of BDT 200
    must be paid online.

Motorcycle & Bicycle Training Requirements

  • Motorcycle students must attend at least 3 classes (1 hour) per
    day.
  • Bicycle training requires a minimum of 2 hours of daily practice.

Additional Clauses for Institutional Safety

  • All students must check the BDDTI app or website for class updates
    and cancellations before leaving for the training location.
  • No class may commence if not reflected in the official
    portal’s schedule.
  • BDDTI reserves the right to update, modify, or append these terms
    at any time for service improvement.
  • In case of socio-political or natural disruptions, BDDTI shall not
    be held liable for class delays or rescheduling.

Defensive Driving Course Specific Terms

  • Full course fees must be paid in advance before the training
    begins.
  • The course fee is BDT 3,500 per participant (minimum 20
    participants required).
  • Payment must be made to the designated account as instructed by
    BDDTI.
  • Licensing & Theory Class: 120 minutes
  • Written & Oral Examination: 60 minutes
  • Practical Driving Practice: 30 minutes
  • Final Practical Driving Test: 30 minutes

Venue and Equipment

  • All training sessions will be conducted within Dhaka city based on
    mutual scheduling.
  • If training is to be conducted at the client’s venue, the
    client must provide:
    • A multimedia projector and a projector screen.
    • Two operational vehicles in good condition for the practical
      session and final driving test.

Safety and Compliance

  • All participants must possess a valid learner’s or
    driver’s permit, if applicable.
  • Participants must strictly follow the instructions of the
    instructors during both theoretical and practical sessions.
  • Vehicles provided for practical training must have valid
    registration, insurance, and fitness certificates.
  • BDDTI will not be responsible for any accident, injury, or
    property damage occurring due to the negligence of the
    participants or faulty vehicles provided by the client.
  • First-aid support should be available at the client’s venue
    during the training session.

Certification

Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the final
assessments will receive a Certificate of Completion from Bangladesh
Driving Training Institute (BDDTI).

Driving License Application Guidelines and Terms and Conditions

1. Accuracy of Information

All applicants must carefully verify and provide accurate
information during the driving license application process.
Bangladesh Driving Training Institute (BDDTI) will not be held
responsible for any consequences arising from incorrect or
misleading information provided by the applicant.

2. Corrections After Issuance of Learner License

If your submitted information contains any errors and a learner
license is issued based on such incorrect data, any future
correction will require both the official government correction
fee and an additional consulting fee charged by BDDTI.

3. Correction for BDDTI-Induced Errors

If any error occurs due to our processing, you must inform us
immediately after your driving test and before making the final
payment. Corrections must be completed either by visiting our
office in person or through a scheduled online meeting. Final
payment is only accepted at the time of this correction meeting.
Failure to report within the given time will release BDDTI from
any responsibility.

4. Responsibility for Smart Card Delivery

BDDTI processes applications only up to the e-license stage. Once
submitted, responsibility for the physical delivery of the smart
card license falls solely under the jurisdiction of the Bangladesh
government. BDDTI will not be liable for any delay or issue
regarding the smart card.

5. Eligibility Criteria

  • Professional License: Minimum age 21 years;
    valid for 5 years.
  • Non-Professional License: Minimum age 18 years;
    valid for 10 years.

Applicants must ensure they meet the age criteria before applying, as application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

6. International Driving License Requirements

For international driving license applications, applicants must
have:

  • A valid national driving license
  • A passport
  • A national ID card (NID Card)
  • A printed driving license manual and smart card will be issued as part of the process.

7. Exam Preparation Responsibility

All applicants must contact us via WhatsApp at least four (4) days before the driving test date to receive exam guidance, instructor contact information, and detailed test instructions. Any negligence in this regard may affect your test outcome, and BDDTI will not be held responsible.

8. Payment Policy

All payments must be made strictly through the official mobile app
or online portal of Bangladesh Driving Training Institute (BDDTI).

After every transaction:

Please carefully check and ensure that a money receipt has been
received within the app or online portal.

Important Note:

BDDTI will not be responsible for any payment made to the
personal number of any trainer or staff member outside the
official payment channels.

If payment is made through the authorized bank accounts or mobile
banking numbers listed below (outside the online portal):

You must download or take a screenshot of the money receipt after
completing the transaction. The receipt must be sent to the
designated number for verification and also kept safely for your
records.

9. Misrepresentation or Misconduct

BDDTI reserves the right to cancel or withhold services if any
form of forgery, misrepresentation, or verbal/behavioral
misconduct is found on the applicant’s side. Communication
must be maintained through officially approved channels (phone, WhatsApp, office visit, or scheduled video call).

10. No Guarantee of Success

BDDTI does not guarantee success in the driving test; performance depends solely on the applicant’s preparation and ability.

Policy Amendment & Timeline Flexibility Clause

To ensure continuous improvement in service quality for both the institution and its students, Bangladesh Driving Training
Institute (BDDTI) reserves the right to amend, remove, or
introduce any rules, regulations, or policies at any time, without prior notice. Furthermore, due to unforeseen social,
environmental, or political factors, scheduled timelines may be adjusted accordingly. BDDTI shall not be held liable for any such changes.

Acknowledgment

By enrolling in any course offered by BDDTI, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. These conditions are applicable to all courses and branches of BDDTI and are binding on all parties in alignment with the best interests of the institution.
